SAFE (Sexual Awareness For Everyone) Male is a peer led project that aims to improve the knowledge of issues surrounding healthy relationships and sexual health for young men aged 16-35 with learning disabilities.

This project is based around peer led workshops around topics such as healthy/unhealthy relationships, internet safety, issues surrounding public/private space, consent, sexual health and issues surrounding pornography. The aim of this project is to improve knowledge and awareness of these issues for the young men with learning disabilities and help prevent them from partaking in risky sexual behaviours, unsafe relationships and to aid with the prevention of exploitation.

The young people we work with gain a lot from our project, the knowledge they acquire helps them to feel safer in the community and grow positive, life improving relationships. This project is funded through ICF Gwent.
