  • Approximately 1,000 Volunteer Members and growing fast
  • Volunteer-led, no salaried staff
  • Financially self-sufficient via local fundraising

RSVP West is part of our Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme. Most members work in groups led by volunteer Project Organisers. They usually work within a particular geographical area and are involved in one or more areas of activity of their choice.

These include the provision of Community Care services (transport & wellbeing) in partnership with GP Surgeries, Volunteer Drivers groups, Lay Assessors in Care Homes and Home Care, Musical Activities projects for older people and an extensive Schools Volunteers Programme.

Other members have responsibility for internal activities such Office Administration, Information Systems (IT), a Membership and Projects Database, Bookkeeping, Publicity Materials and the Editorship of a regular Newsletter.

RSVP West – Fundraising volunteer

We are looking for an over-50’s volunteer, resident in the RSVP West area, who would like to help the Regional Coordinator with fundraising.
