There are often a whole host of reasons an individual is out of work – and although there are common threads, everyone’s situation is different.
This is why Equip+ works in partnership with the local community – volunteers, funders, other charities and employers – to create bespoke solutions to improve opportunities for people to get into work.
If you are aged 16-64 living in Rhondda Cynon Taf or Newport (Gwent) and looking to begin your journey towards employment, education, or training, we can help you with opportunities and tools that to develop confidence, knowledge, and life skills. Equip+ can connect you with volunteer mentors from your community, to support you with goal planning and guidance.
We provide access to IT equipment and offer bespoke workshops including:
- Steps towards Self-Employment and how to access grants
- Digital skills, including how to use Zoom or MS Teams
- CVs, Personal Statement writing and Interview tips
- Confidence building
