Across Wales we’re responding quickly to the needs of local communities. By setting up the COVID-19 Community Response Programme we’re helping prevent loneliness and poor mental and physical health during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our volunteers are supporting people in self-isolation, at high risk and unable to leave their home. From community support volunteers to telephone befrienders, dog walkers and more we’re offering safe, structured volunteering solutions to help those who need it most. And we need more volunteers to help.
We’re recruiting:
- Community Support volunteers
- Telephone befriending volunteers
- Dog walking volunteers
These opportunities are available in Blaenau Gwent, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Newport, Pembrokeshire and Flintshire.
If you live in one of these areas and are need of, or know someone in need of support, please get in touch.
