Our Project Officer Elin Strom was a guest on BBC Radio Coventry and Warwickshire to promote our new Give More Get More project.

Give More Get More is an exciting inter-generational project which aims to support young disabled people to plan their next steps after education and inspire them to set goals, whether that be further education, employment, volunteering or another avenue such as developing confidence to use public transport or improving social skills.

Elin was joined by David, a volunteer on the project who has recently been matched with a young person. He told listeners that as a person over 50, he’s had a lifetime of experience to share, and hopefully a lot more to come!

You can listen to the interview here – it starts 2 hours and 12 minutes in to the programme.

Could you become a Give More Get More mentor and use your time and expertise to help a young person with disabilities? Get in touch and see how you can make a difference.
