DWP placement Kobe Huggins Driver in Cambridge Constabulary

Kobe Huggins-Driver, 16, work shadowed for a day with Cambridgeshire Constabulary. His mum Nola, said: “Kobe has learning difficulties, he’s at college but because he has Autism, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia (which affects his physical coordination) he finds it hard to learn and lacks confidence.

“He’s always wanted to join the police gaining some real practical work experience in the police control room has really inspired him and has given him an insight into the world of work. He now feels he’ll be able to find a paid job in the future, hopefully with the police, as he loves being independent and doesn’t want to be stuck at home.”
