The Network of National Volunteer-Involving Agencies (NNVIA) was formed in 2003. It brings together more than 100 national charities that recognise the critical importance of volunteers in achieving their mission. The NNVIA charities collectively involve millions of volunteers. A full list of the organisations involved can be found by clicking here.

NNVIA is coordinated by Volunteering Matters and chaired by our Chief Executive, Paul Reddish. Chris Wade of MND Association serves as Co-Chair.

The network gives charities a platform with which to influence national volunteering policy and practice. It promotes the value of volunteering by developing relationships with other networks, raising the profile of volunteering within government and engaging with key decision makers.

NNVIA meets four times a year often inviting external speakers as well as holding workshops discussions for members to share problems and solutions.
